Hi, I'm Lesley, and I have worked in hospitality since the age of 15 when I was a porter (not a very good porter!) in a hotel in Bournemouth. During university I had part time work in a pub and loved the second family that environment delivered.
I have worked in pub co's (from Greene King to Peach Pub Co), I then moved to casual dining most notably I was Marketing Director for Bill’s restaurant group. Next I then was bitten by the competitive socialising bug, launching Hijingo for State of Play which is an amazing concept modernising bingo giving Gen Z a night to remember!
I describe myself as someone who has found their dream job… I really love hospitality from taking someone out of their everyday and making them something to eat or serving a great drink, to the mix of the people who work in the industry, I am proud to say some of my best friends are people I have met over the years in different hospitality roles.
